This lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bath cottage sits beautifully in the tall pines, just off the west end of Scenic Highway 30A. Each bedroom has its own bath, and the kitchen is open and spacious with a large island for gathering the family for fish taco night. After dinner this open concept home is perfect for a fun game of charades, or movie night.
During the day, you’ll enjoy our amazing gulf coast with the beach being just over a mile away or check out Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to see true Florida cypress swamps. After spending the day hiking in the state park, or biking to the beach via the Timpoochee bike trail, you’ll love sitting on the large screen porch reminiscing about your day. There’s also a dining table for outdoor porch dining.
Mockingbird Cottage is also located near some incredible, locally owned, restaurants like Stinky’s Fish Camp only 1.3 miles away, Louis Louis 2.4 miles away, and if you prefer some classic southern, deep fried, delicious seafood, check out Elmo’s Grill where you’ll dine on rustic picnic tables. No worries if the kids spill their drinks here!

Wonderful Home & Great Stay!
by Bill & Mary GriffinThis is the 5th time that we have rented this home, and we\'ve always had a great experience! The Owner of the home and the employees of Dune Allen Realty are wonderful to work with and really care that you have an enjoyable stay in Mockingbird Cottage. We like the fact that the home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms! While we\'ve only had between 1 and 4 people staying in the home at one time, it has allowed some flexibility with sleeping arrangements and plenty of room to spread out. Other highlights of this home include the large kitchen and dining room, laundry facilities, and the sizable, screened porch in the rear of the home. We delight in the peacefulness of being on a quiet street in the pine forest, near a cypress pond, yet we can hear the waves in the gulf when we sit out on the front porch and enjoy quiet evenings. It is so convenient to be approximately a mile bike ride or car ride away from the beach access and yet a short drive to the grocery stores, restaurants, medical offices, and other establishments. It is the perfect combination of being close to everything yet feeling like you have your own private retreat! We will definitely return again!

Quiet, secluded, easy walk to beach, nice patio, love setting on front porch listening to birds, hearing surf, watching wildlife and secluded walking path, little traffic noise, a lot of great restaurants in area and the house is simple but elegant! I love the peacefulness, quietness, and having a place that feels like home away from home! Have spoken with the owner of this home and feel she is very proud of what this home offers! by RachelLoved staying at this property. The house was really beautiful and I loved all of the bird decorations. Also liked watching for bluebirds in the back/side yard! We enjoyed our morning bike rides to the beach and through the neighborhoods and a short drive to our favorite beach
